First Recruitment Services is searching for a proactive and detail-driven Operations Administrator to support a busy logistics team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in operations while developing key administrative and coordination skills.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Keeping operations running smoothly with essential administrative support
  • Scheduling and booking shipments, including data entry and job file preparation
  • Maintaining internal systems and customer portals with accurate tracking updates
  • Assisting with billing data verification, job costings, and documentation accuracy
  • Preparing internal reports, customer communications, and occasional quotations
  • Participating in the shared on-call rota for first line out-of-hours support
  • Handling pick/pack/distribution tasks (light manual duties may be involved)
  • Managing compliance paperwork and organising internal documents
  • Coordinating with operations, finance, and transport teams

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous administration experience in a fast-paced setting (logistics a plus!)
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Clear and effective communication- written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently while being a team playe
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word
