Hays' client is a major public sector organisation in Edinburgh. The client is looking for a Business Analyst to join ongoing product improvement initiatives and the development and delivery of a new Case Management System.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Associate Product Managers, Product Managers, Developers, and stakeholders to meet key project milestones.
- Enhance existing workflows and develop new ones within the Case Management system.
- Use techniques such as Business Canvas Modelling, Value Proposition Design, or Wardley mapping.
- Implement prioritisation methods like cost of delay or similar.
- Develop conceptual wireframes.
- Ensure adherence to government digital standards.
- Apply methodologies such as Lean UX, Six Sigma, or system thinking.
- Perform process and data simulation modelling.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven background working as a Business Analyst, ideally for public sector clients.
- Experience of Continuous Improvement delivery and Product development
- Experience of developing and/or delivering Case Management Systems would be a distinct advantage.
- Understanding of government digital standards.
- Ability to create conceptual wireframes.
- Skills in process and data simulation modelling.
- Formal qualification with IIBA or a similar organisation would be an advantage.
