Junior Paraplanner - Route to Advise
Client-Facing Role - Work Directly with Chartered Advisers

My client is a prestigious independent Chartered wealth planning firm, located near Horsham, offering comprehensive financial advice to high-net-worth individuals, retirees, local families, SME owners, and accumulators across Sussex. With 400 clients and assets ranging from everyday portfolios to over £1m+, they provide expert advice in areas such as pensions, investments, tax planning, cashflow modelling, retirement planning, and protections. Their longstanding client relationships span more than 20 years.
The business, which has grown organically over the last 20 years, currently consists of two experienced advisers, a senior paraplanner, and a dedicated support team. Exceptional client satisfaction is at the core of the company’s values, contributing to impressive client retention. Staff are encouraged to advance both professionally and personally through continuous CPD and industry exams, which are fully supported by the company. They utilise a range of platforms and analytical tools, with Xplan being the primary back-office system.
The Opportunity:The directors are seeking two proactive Junior Paraplanners to work closely with each of the two Chartered Advisers. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your paraplanning career, with the potential to progress to adviser roles in the future. You’ll work directly with clients, assisting with drafting reports, financial analysis, cashflow modelling, and some occasional administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate 1-2-1 with Chartered Advisers to support client portfolios.
- Draft suitability reports, conduct financial analysis, and assist with cashflow modelling.
- Gain valuable experience working on a variety of financial planning areas.
- Support the team with administrative tasks as needed.
- Progressive development pathway for those aspiring to become an adviser.
What We’re Looking For:
- Progressing towards or already holding a Level 4 Diploma.
- Previous experience in a wealth management environment.
- Strong technical knowledge and report writing skills.
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Aspirations to progress as an adviser (optional - we’re open to those who prefer a technical paraplanner role).
