We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our friendly team at our little but busy country pub in the heart of Barns Green. The ideal candidate will take full responsibility of the kitchen and with that have flexibility to create menus, specials and themed/event night menus.
*Responsibilities*
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen
- Create main menus that meet customers' expectations and special event menus
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes with attention to detail
- Train and supervise kitchen staff
- Maintain food safety standards and cleanliness in the kitchen
- Manage ordering and control food costs effectively
- Creatw working relationships with staff and suppliers
