As the Building Inspector Team Leader, you will spearhead the administrative and technical processes of our Council’s Building Control function.

**What We’re Looking For:**

- You are a Registered Building Inspector with the Building Safety Regulator at Classes 2A, B, C, D, E, and F.

- Your managerial and decision-making expertise empowers our building control operations, and you understand the professional boundaries that affect service delivery in local government.

- You possess an in-depth knowledge of legislation, regulations, and professional codes of practice, and you navigate the complexities of the Health and Safety at Work Act (etc.) 1974 with ease.

- With a solid understanding of construction methods and materials, you have your finger on the pulse of the industry.

- You have the financial savvy to manage chargeable services effectively, always accounting for resources and understanding how financial realities influence our mission.

- Your communication skills, both written and verbal, are exceptional, enabling you to maintain precise records and engage effectively with stakeholders.

- You demonstrate remarkable people skills that inspire teamwork and lead with confidence.

- Your ability to conduct thorough research and risk assessments supports informed decision-making.

- You are proficient in IT, capable of using essential office programs to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
