Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.

Location: Horsham, Sussex RH13. On site with some office and working from home flexibility for report writing.

Salary: Competitive Salary, Depending on Experience.

Working Hours: 39 hours a week.

About the Role:

  • Carrying out and recording suitable and sufficient Fire Risk Assessments predominantly of lower to medium risk premises.
  • Providing support and understanding regarding technical questions and enquiries.
  • Periodically providing Fire Warden training to smaller groups.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Ability to demonstrate familiarity and a thorough understanding of The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and the duties set out within the Order and other relevant Acts of Parliament.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of applicable guidance documents including relevant British Standards, DCLG guidance, and LACoRS.
  • Ability to demonstrate relevancy of knowledge (fully up to date).
  • Able to evidence written and verbal communication to support Report writing (from a provided standard template) and customer correspondence where required.
  • Full driving license.
  • A relevant Level 3 or above qualification in Fire Risk Assessment or Management and/ or a portfolio of other supporting qualifications and experience (e.g. fire alarms, fire extinguishers, fire doors).

Preferred criteria:

  • Third party accredited membership.
  • Fire Door Surveying experience.
  • Up to date CPD Record.
