Drainage Site Supervisor

Location: West Sussex
Vector are recruiting for an experienced Drainage Site Supervisor on behalf of a a fast growing infrastructure business, providing innovative solutions to drainage rehabilitation projects.

The Role:
We are seeking a skilled Drainage Site Supervisor to oversee drainage lining projects from start to finish. You will ensure efficient site operations, coordinate teams, uphold quality standards, and maintain strict health & safety compliance. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with industry-leading technologies and advance your career in underground infrastructure rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage drainage rehabilitation projects, ensuring timely and in-budget delivery.
  • Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Conduct risk assessments, site inductions, and toolbox talks to maintain safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications and industry regulations.
  • Act as the primary contact for clients, engineers, and stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate site reports and documentation.
  • Oversee quality control and ensure best practices in trenchless technology applications.

Requirements:
  • Experience of site supervision within drainage, highways, civil engineering or similar.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Understanding of HSE regulations, risk assessments, NRSWA, Temporary Site Works and Permit-to-Work Systems.
  • Ability to read plans and interpret project specifications.
  • Experience in trenchless rehabilitation is an advantage, but training is available.

Qualifications:
  • SMSTS/SSSTS Certificate (preferred)
  • CSCS Card (Gold or Black)
  • Confined Space Training (Advantageous)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
