We are recruiting for a qualified accountant with an accountancy practice background to join a accountancy firm in the Horsham area, West Sussex, as an Accounts Manager
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a small but well established accountancy practice. They are based close to Horsham, but can offer hybrid or fully remote working.
This is a newly created Accounts Manager role and will involve managing a client portfolio of sole traders, limited companies and HNWI. You will be reviewing a range of accounts and tax work and carrying out the more complex compliance, liaising with and advising clients and mentoring and developing more junior team members.The firm has largely grown through word of mouth, so their is a strong emphasis on quality of work and client relationships. They have a technology lead approach and welcome new ideas, are open to change and give their employees freedom and responsibility.They have a stable, close knit team and offer an attractive range of benefits, with lots of flexibility to work from home. About you:
- ACA/ACCA qualified accountant (or equivalent)
- Extensive recent experience in a UK accountancy firm
- Self motivated, enjoy working with SME businesses
- Looking for a long term opportunity
