Corporate Tax Manager - Step Up and Shape the Future

Location: Horsham (Hybrid Working Model)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Corporate Tax Manager to join a well-established professional services firm. This role is perfect for individuals ready to step up from Senior or Assistant Manager positions and take on a pivotal role in a dynamic Corporate Tax department.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Senior Management team and Corporate Tax Partner, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the department. The position offers a hybrid working model with three days in the office and two days from home, plus occasional travel to offices in Sussex, Kent, and London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Advisory: Engage in tax advisory assignments, including reorganizations, demergers, R&D tax credits, due diligence on acquisitions, and more—dedicating approximately 50% of time to these projects.
  • Client Partnership: Develop and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of corporate clients, becoming their trusted business advisor.
  • Global Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues worldwide to provide comprehensive solutions to UK and international clients.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Oversee and mentor a team of three, fostering growth and excellence within the team.
  • Compliance Excellence: Ensure accurate and timely Corporate Tax compliance services for a varied client portfolio, reviewing complex returns and staying abreast of regulatory changes.
