The right candidate will have an enhanced level of technical acumen to deliver trusted advisory to a varied portfolio of UK and international clients. You’ll be confident advising a range of businesses in varying sectors on all matters of corporate tax advice as well as overseeing the provision of accurate and timely tax compliance services.

You’ll be working with a cohesive and high performing team, taking responsibility for allocating work, overseeing junior staff and managing deadlines.

Job Purpose
  • Provide trusted advisory to a significant and diverse portfolio of UK and international clients
  • Manage all commercial aspects of your portfolio, ensuring all fees are issued in a timely manner
  • Oversee corporate tax compliance services to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Review complex corporate tax returns and computations in compliance with regulations
  • Working directly with Partners to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are being met
  • Analyse and interpret data and prepare tax advice based on findings
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior staff
  • Attend prospect meetings and working with other departments as required
  • Lead liaison with HMRC on behalf of clients, proactively handling enquiries
  • Promote and maintain a positive team culture

Job Requirements
  • CTA qualified or qualified by extensive experience
  • Demonstrable experience in a corporate tax role within practice
  • Proven track record of team management and mentorship
  • Strong understanding of current tax and general accounting UK regulations
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
  • Ability to manage own workload to ensure deadlines are always met
  • Strong time management and a positive, can-do attitude when working under pressure
  • Sound IT skills to efficiently carry out work
  • Willing to travel to client offices when and where required
