Finance Manager

Would you like to join a growing company with a niche proposition servicing the tenancy rental market, we have carved ourselves a unique spot in a fast-growing market. Having recently joined forces with a major brand, this growth is set to continue as the portfolio of brands and numbers of customers.

The role

Our expanding finance team is looking for a Finance Manager to support the smooth running of finance functions; management accounting, credit control and billing. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, exceptional organisational and time management skills. The Finance Manager will take an active role in the annual audit and acquisition activities, whilst leading the banking relationship. They will also support the senior management team with additional ad-hoc analysis to drive the rapid growth of the business, therefore prior experience in a dynamic finance team which partners the business is desired.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cashflow monitoring and forecasting.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting.
  • Acquisition financial due diligence.
  • Support external finance relationships; auditors, banking, accounting / payment software.
  • Complete debt reporting and liaise with the credit control Team Leader on debt collection. Strategies.
  • Liaise with billing manager to lead.
  • Own the purchase ledger close and support the monthly reporting process.
  • Lead on acquisitions for the financial onboarding of share or asset purchases.
  • Monthly man accts / reporting reviews and presentation to the SMT.
  • Lead the annual financial audit.
  • Approve payment runs.
  • Ad-hoc analysis to support the Finance Director and Senior Management Team.

Is this you?

  • IT literate with excellent Microsoft Excel knowledge.
  • Qualified ACCA or CIMA accountant.
  • Sage 200 experience is preferred.
  • You will have both excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • You will be a positive, pro-active and personable individual who will fit in well with this dynamic small team of individuals.
  • You will be self-motivated and able to meet deadlines without direct, daily supervision.
  • Ad hoc duties as requested by the Financial Director and senior management team.
  • Most importantly a sense of humour!
