Our client is currently seeking a talented Private Client Tax Manager to join their dynamic team at their Horsham office. As a Private Client Tax Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing a diverse portfolio of private clients, providing expert tax advice and compliance services. You will be responsible for leading a team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality tax services, and fostering strong client relationships.   1. Client Management:

    • Manage a portfolio of private clients, including high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and trusts.
    • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for all tax-related matters.
    • Provide tailored tax planning advice to clients, considering their individual circumstances and financial goals.
  2. Tax Compliance and Advisory:

    • Oversee the preparation and submission of self-assessment tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation.
    • Advise clients on a wide range of tax issues, including inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and income tax planning.
    • Keep abreast of changes in tax legislation and communicate implications to clients proactively.
  3. Team Leadership and Development:

    • Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
    • Review work completed by junior team members, providing constructive feedback and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  4. Business Development:

    • Identify opportunities to expand services to existing clients and attract new business.
    • Participate in networking events and contribute to marketing initiatives to enhance the firm's profile in the marketplace.
  5. Strategic Contribution:

    • Contribute to the development and implementation of the firm's tax strategy.
    • Collaborate with other departments to provide a holistic service to clients and identify cross-selling opportunities.
Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in private client tax, preferably within an accountancy practice environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation and regulations.
  • Proven track record of managing a diverse client portfolio and delivering high-quality tax advice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
