In this role, you will actively engage with existing and new clients across all channels of communication, assisting with renewals, MTAs, and quotations, and, also advising on claims on an ad-hoc basis.Â
As well as being based in their beautiful Horsham office for 2 days a week, you will have the hybrid flexibility of working from home for up to 3 days, working hours from 9 am to 5.30 pm.
You will be responsible for handling your book of clients and will be involved in supporting Account Executives aiming to ultimately achieve the business objectives!
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to-
- Handling a portfolio of commercial insurance clients. Identify and convert growth opportunities from referrals, cross-selling, and new client sourcing.
- Helping with providing New business quotations, information, and guidance, handling renewals and mid-term adjustments.
- Working alongside Account Executives to plan strategy.
- Liaising with Underwriters to achieve optimal outcomes for clients. Maintenance of up-to-date client records on the electronic filing system.
- Identifying, planning, and achieving cross-sale opportunities, working with specialist areas. Client visits with AE when required.
To succeed in this role, you will have-
- 3 years minimum of cross-class experience, and a broad range of commercial knowledge- property, Casualty, Motor, Construction, and Financial Lines for a variety of trades/industries.Â
- Proven experience of market-facing negotiations/client-facing interactions.
- Willingness to get involved in New Business sourcing opportunities.
- Strong negotiation skills.
