Pineapple Careers is delighted to partner with a leading School located on the outskirts of Horsham to recruit a Maintenance Person on a full-time, permanent basis. Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake routine and emergency site repairs, redecoration, maintenance and refurbishment work to all areas of the school
- Carry out a variety of routine repairs and maintenance to ensure the schools facilities are in top condition
- Operate and maintain tools, equipment and materials efficiently to complete jobs to a high standard
- Collaborate with the team to provide support across the schools facilities as needed
- Ensuring all Health & Safety requirements are adhered to and always maintained
Key Skills:
- Proactive self-starter with enthusiasm for delivering high-quality results
- Strong practical skills in building maintenance, including plumbing, carpentry, decorating, and basic electrical work
- Flexible and willing to take on a diverse range of tasks to support the school
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Trustworthy, reliable, and always prioritises Health & Safety in all tasks
- Strong team player, happy to assist colleagues when needed
- Holds a valid UK Drivers Licence
- A full DBS check is required for this role
Personal Profile:
- Proven experience in building, grounds, or facilities maintenance
- Confident in the use of a wide range of hand and power tools
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks as required
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Hardworking, adaptable, and detail-oriented
Salary & Benefits:
- £29,000
- Monday to Friday, 08.00 16.30
- Generous Pension Contribution
- 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
