IT Security Engineer required by an established company located in Horsham. The IT Security Engineer will be responsible for:
- Protecting internal IT systems and maintaining the company's security infrastructure
- Monitoring security systems
- Checking server & firewall logs
- Supporting security audits
- Identifying vulnerabilities and implementing dfixes
- Assisting with system backups & updates
- Data protection
- Providing IT security support
Key Experience:
- A technical background in IT support (2nd line)
- Commercial experience in role where IT security has been the main focus
- Firewalls
- Supporting users with IT security
Experience in any of the following areas would be advantageous but is not a prerequisite:
- Working on security audits
- ISO 27001
