Our client, a reputable electrical manufacturer, are looking for a skilled Assembly Operative to join their dedicated team in Slinfold.As an Assembly Operative, you'll play a crucial role in producing high-quality components, focusing on assembling cables and connectors and applying silicone sealants around the connector rims. This work requires a delicate touch and the ability to work with small parts and intricate details.Responsibilities:
  • Assemble cables and connectors with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Apply silicone sealants precisely around the rims of connectors.
  • Inspect assembled components for quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Handle delicate components carefully, ensuring a high standard of workmanship.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety and quality guidelines.
The Candidate:
  • Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
  • A steady hand for working on fiddly, small-scale tasks.
  • Experience in precision work such as jewellery making is advantageous, though not essential.
What's on Offer:
  • Competitive salary up to £26,500, based on experience.
  • Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.15pm, with a 3.30pm finish on a Friday.
  • 23 days of annual leave + BH.
  • Discretionary bonuses awarded every two years.
