Our client, a leading construction plant hire company, is looking for a Construction Logistics Manager to join their dynamic team in Horsham.Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate in a team environment to arrange site requirements, including plant preparation, delivery, and personnel allocation, ensuring full compliance.
  • Liaise with site managers and supervisors to confirm correct plant, staff, and materials are on-site.
  • Work closely with the Workshop Manager to schedule plant maintenance and servicing, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Ensure compliance of operators, plant, and vehicles with regulations and company standards.
  • Attend regular meetings with the Operations Director and key team members.
  • Maintain and update daily planners with site changes and transport schedules.
  • Support the Logistics Assistant with transport deliveries and ensure sites are ready to commence on agreed start dates.
  • Learn and utilize the company's health and safety program (Iprotectu) and other IT systems effectively.
The Candidate:
  • Strong people management and leadership skills.
  • Experience in logistics, ideally within the construction industry.
  • A practical, hands-on approach with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements and remain compliant with industry standards.
