Job role: Accounts & Office Manager

Salary: £40K - £42K pa + bonus & benefits

Location: Horsham, West Sussex - Officed based

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing a sizable team of direct and in-direct reports
  • Conduct 1to1's, appraisals and ensure target setting for the team
  • Weekly reconciliation of cashbook
  • Production of financial reports, cashbook maintenance and bank
  • Authorising payments and invoices
  • Oversee the credit control function, ensuring accurate and timely collection of aged debt
  • Onboarding new clients and relevant administration
  • Continuously look for process improvements and efficiencies

Skills and experience required

  • Demonstratable exposure of managing teams, both direct and indirect reports
  • Financial accounting, bookkeeping and general cashbook maintenance experience
  • Strong system skills inclusive of Excel
  • Strong attention to detail, motivated to deliver high class client experience
