Primary - Higher Level Teaching Assistant

  • Salary: £90-£100
  • Location: Horsham
  • Working Hours: 08:30-16:00 Monday - Friday

We are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team, working with students with learning difficulties and social, emotional and mental health. This role offers a temporary contract with the intention to become permanent, whilst accommodating to notice periods for the right candidate. The school invests in their staff with opportunities to develop and grow, and are known for their innovative approach and outstanding practice

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide 1:1 support and assist with small classes to enhance the educational experience of children.
  • Work closely with primary school students, adapting to their individual learning needs.
  • For primary education, engage in activities that require an active approach, such as coaching and sports.
  • Assist teachers and potentially be assigned to relevant departments, such as STEM, if one has a specialism.
  • Participate in inset days and engage in training and development opportunities.
