Project Manager

Are you a highly organised Project Manager with a passion for delivering complex engineering projects? Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Programme Management team, driving the execution of cutting-edge engineering development projects from conception to delivery.

The Role

As Project Manager, you'll take ownership of both customer contracts and internal development projects, managing all aspects from engineering development to contract deliverables. You'll work closely with our Operations team in a customer-facing role, ensuring successful acceptance testing and delivery while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project launches with comprehensive planning, including master schedules, resource plans, and budgets
  • Manage stakeholder communications and expectations, maintaining detailed project documentation
  • Coordinate with engineering leads to ensure technical excellence and resource optimisation
  • Drive risk management and maintain project controls
  • Oversee financial aspects including revenue plans, forecasting, and margin management

As the Project Manager you will need:

  • 3+ years of project management experience in an engineering environment
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across multiple business functions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project or similar project management tools
  • Experience in generating project and financial reports
  • Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance
  • Willingness to travel within UK and abroad (valid driving license and passport required)
