Established Sussex Practice Require and Experienced Conveyancing Paralegal
About the Role:
A Residential Property Paralegal role providing key support to an established Conveyancing Solicitor at one of the region's established names. Transactions cover both freehold and leasehold property acquisitions and disposal from start to finish. Prior experience and a professional outlook sought for what is a very well established residential property team, at our client's Horsham office, a very well known firm with further offices across the region. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further their expertise in conveyancing, within a friendly, professional, and supportive practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Key support on residential property transactional and related advisory work
- Prepare contracts, Transfer Deeds (TR1), Land Registry forms (AP1, RX1, CH1, etc.), and SDLT submissions
- Conduct property searches and investigations
- Engagement with clients, agents, and other relevant parties to provide updates and address queries on case progression.
Ideally you will have prior experience in a residential property team, or commercial, if you're looking to make a switch into residential. The team are looking for a proactive, organised individual committed to providing excellent service and keen to be part of a team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, in residential property
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in legal research and document management
- Attention to detail and a high level of organisation
