This role offers a long-term or permanent opportunity for an individual who is ready to contribute to the educational journey of students. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role. 

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Covering classes across the KS3/4 curriculum, ensuring continuity of education in the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Being available throughout the week as the school requires someone who can commit to working 5 days a week.
  • Setting expectations for work to be completed within lesson time and upholding the school’s policies.
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Inspiring and motivating pupils to engage with the subject matter.
  • Quickly adapting to the school’s systems and procedures, with experience in using BromCom or similar platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in covering classes across the KS3/4 curriculum.
  • Strong behaviour management skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Experience with BromCom or similar educational software.
  • Availability to work 5 days a week and start immediately.
