English teacher - Horsham

About the roleYou’ll be working as an English teacher at an Independent school near Horsham - ideally to start ASAP but they are happy to wait for the right person so please do reach out to discuss start dates if interested! About you-
An experienced teacher with QTS (ECTs will be considered)

Demonstrable history of teaching English to a high standard

Enthusiasm and creativity when delivering lessons to students of all ages and abilities

Proven experience in developing teaching & learning within an English department

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and cater to diverse learning styles.

Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to foster improvement.

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.

Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.

Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and development.

Stay updated on educational best practices and participate in professional development opportunities.
