English teacher - Horsham

About the role

You’ll be working as an English teacher at an Independent school near Horsham - ideally to start ASAP but they are happy to wait for the right person so please do reach out to discuss start dates if interested! You will be joining a committed and positive staff team. About you
  • An experienced teacher with QTS (ECTs will be considered)

  • Demonstrable history of teaching English to a high standard

  • Enthusiasm and creativity when delivering lessons to students of all ages and abilities

  • Proven experience in developing teaching & learning within an English department

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and cater to diverse learning styles.

  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to foster improvement.

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and development.

  • Stay updated on educational best practices and participate in professional development opportunities.
