Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic qualified Maths teacher to join our team at a well-regarded secondary school in Horsham. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Maths education to students aged 11-16, fostering a positive learning environment, and contributing to the overall development of the students.Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information.
  • Support the school's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Maths at the secondary school level.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
