Role Overview

OCS Group is currently recruiting for a Dedicated Relief Security Officer in the Chelsea, London area, to be based at one of our prestigious clients premises.

As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your keen observation skills, attention to detail, and ability to respond effectively in emergency situations will contribute to the overall security of our premises. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular internal and external patrols to ensure the security and safety of the premises
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems via the CCTV Control room
  • Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
  • Signing keys in/Out on registers
  • Ensuring all staff/Contractors are booked on site correctly
  • Enforce property rules and regulations to ensure no dangerous items are brought onto site
  • Provide assistance to visitors and employees through meet and greet/Customer service in and around the building
  • Report any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities/Control room
  • Perform first aid or emergency procedures as needed
  • Conduct loss prevention measures to minimize theft or damage

About You:

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • Excellent observation and surveillance skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of CCTV systems and other security equipment
  • Familiarity with first aid procedures
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
  • Must be physically fit to conduct internal and external patrols
  • Must have a positive can do approach
  • Must hold a valid SIA Frontline License and a SIA CCTV License
  • Checkable work/career history. All applicants will be vetted in line with industry standards (BS7858).
  • Excellent communication & administration skills.
  • Must be punctual and have the ability to think on their feet.
  • Reliable with excellent time-management skills.
  • Smart, well-groomed and confident.
  • Good report writing skills.
  • IT literacy would be an advantage.
