Day to Day of the Role:
- Oversee daily store operations and ensure compliance with all retail practices including retail laws, security, health and safety, and GDPR.
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team to achieve store and company objectives.
- Responsible for recruiting, training, and developing store staff.
- Plan, organise, and delegate work among the store’s team.
- Manage stock control and implement store operation processes to minimise risk and cost.
- Ensure excellent customer service is delivered consistently.
- Drive sales through effective merchandising and customer engagement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Essential:Â
* Educated to GCSE level with basic IT skills.
* At least 2 years’ experience as a store supervisor/deputy manager in a similar retail environment.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
* Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and lead by example.
* Literate, with the ability to plan, organise, and delegate effectively.
