You will be part of a small team developing their brand new 64 -bit software platform for their electro-mechanical products. As a member of the Software Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing an instrument control and data analysis application for brand-new products currently in development. In addition, you will also contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of existing software applications in long-term support.
Here are the responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining bespoke processing and control software
- Defining new project specifications, providing regular updates to the wider team
- Updating online manuals alongside the maintenance of software version control
- Testing new software features with the hardware
- Supporting the installation team and customers with software support
The Candidate: Embedded Software Engineer
The successful candidate will be self-motivated and excited about voicing their ideas during the development process, and will have most of the following skills and experience:
- Experience as a Software Engineer / Software Developer within a multidisciplinary environment
- Real time embedded development
- Experience with I2C and SPI communication protocols.
- Experience with some of the follow: C# / .Net / WPF / MVVM / GitHub / Embedded C
