My client is a leading provider of commercial vehicle maintenance dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of vehicle maintenance and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated HGV Technician to join our team.

Job Description

As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of our fleet of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs). Your expertise will ensure that our vehicles are safe, reliable, and operating at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs, including diagnostics and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of tasks and minimal vehicle downtime.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry standards and best practices.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

  • 2 Years proven experience as an HGV Technician or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HGV systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications and qualifications in vehicle maintenance and repair.
