About The Role:

The company are seeking a skilled Vehicle technician to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in the use of hand and power tools. As a vehicle technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles but primarily Porsche, VAG, Mercedes and BMW ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Your expertise will contribute to providing exceptional service to customers and maintaining the high standards of the workshop.

Duties:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repair
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations and brake inspections
  • Utilise diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems
  • Repair or replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions and exhaust systems
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed on vehicles, using Techman Garage software
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workshop environment
  • Collaborate with other team members to enhance efficiency and productivity in the workshop

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a vehicle technician is essential
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands on experience using hand tools and power tools
  • Familiarity with vehicle diagnostic systems and repair techniques is advantageous
  • Fully qualified to level 3
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role
