Pertemps are recruiting Class 1 HGV Trunk Delivery Drivers for a prestigious company in Oxford. Offering a wide range of shifts on a flexible on-going basis with day and night runs available.
This position suits drivers who are looking for regular, consistent work with consistent routes to the same few collection locations. There are minimal activities expected outside of driving, where you will be required to open curtains, ensure load has been loaded securely then to close curtains for secure transportation back to delivery location.
Most runs available Monday to Wednesday/Thursday, however Fridays and Sundays are also occasionally available.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Collecting parts for a well-known brand in Oxford from regular suppliers (loaded by supplier)
- Driving safely and with courtesy when out on the road
- Responsible for vehicle checks before leaving the depot and on return
To be considered for this Class 1 HGV Driver role, you will need the following:
- 3 months Class 1 HGV driving experience (Experience in Bus/Coach Driving and Class 2 will be considered depending on length of experience)
- Valid HGV Class 1 DVLA issued licence
- DCPC and Tacho card
- No more than 6 points / no DD/DR/IN endorsements
