Choose your role as an SEND Teaching Assistant in a dynamic Oxford school that supports students with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Autism, and Challenging Behaviour. The Supporter: You have experience working with students who have complex needs, including SLD and Autism. You’re patient, resilient, and thrive in environments that can be challenging but rewarding.

The Communicator: Your excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills allow you to engage with students on a personal level, helping them understand, interact, and build confidence.

The Explorer: You adapt to the diverse needs of pupils, tailoring your approach to each individual's education, health, and care plan (EHCP). Whether in groups or 1:1 settings, you are ready to navigate their world.

The Collaborator: You work closely with teachers and other staff to deliver bespoke learning experiences, supporting both academic and behavioural goals.

You will be helping students:

• Build essential life skills

• Experience working with young people with SLD, Autism, and challenging behaviour
• GCSEs in English and Maths (grade C or above, or equivalent)
• Calm under pressure – you thrive when dealing with complex behaviours
• A natural team player who is also capable of independent decision-making
• Flexibility in travelling to the site (own transport is an advantage)
