Repair Engineer
Location - Peterlee (on site)
Could commute from - Hartlepool, Billingham, Seham, Wingate, Sedgefield, Seaham, Wearside, Houghton le Spring, Durham, Chester le Street, Washington, Darlington, Middlesborough, Gateshead, Sunderland, Bishop Auckland
Salary - £29,500. Opportunity to condense to 4-day week, pension, health scheme, company bonus and other benefits including free on-site food, free parking.
The Opportunity

The Role
You will be responsible for the repair and calibration of a wide range of multi parameter test equipment, to repair the units and issue detailed calibration certificates. You will be working as part of a small team in a good work environment. You will look for ways to improve test techniques, to enter data correctly and update internal systems and to work towards timelines and internal KPI’s.
The Person
We are looking for a reliable and positive electrical repair technician. You will be able to repair to component level. Must be able to read circuit diagrams and solder and desolder components on circuit boards. Your experience is the most important aspect of what you offer and will demonstrate your ability but ideally you will be educated to HNC level in electric or electronic disciplines. You may be a preventative maintenance engineer with solid electrical/electronic experience? Your experience can suit any other industry such as white good repairs, other electrical appliances, coffee machines, CCTV and alarm equipment, healthcare equipment, automotive diagnostic equipment, to name but a few possible areas of experience.
