The School and Role

Vision for Education is seeking an enthusiastic part-time Teaching Assistant to join a lovely school in Houghton-le-spring. In this role, you will be working across the Early Years unit with both reception and nursery children providing general classroom support. This is a mornings only role and the hours will be 8:15am – 11:30am. The school boasts a supportive senior leadership team and has works closely with staff to provide the best opportunities for all children.

Requirements:

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

  • Experience of working within primary aged children.
  • Experience working with SEND.
  • Experience of working with pupils with low attainment.
  • Level 2/3 TA qualification.
  • An ability to work as part of a team.
