Are you an experienced C++ Developer with a minimum of 3 year's experience and would like to join a dynamic team that is transforming the hotel industry with cutting-edge technology?
This is a 50/50 hybrid role based in Hounslow and comes with a day rate of up to £400 per day (inside IR35) for initially 12 months.
Our client aims to revolutionize hotel management through an innovative, API-first, cloud-hosted IT product suite. Their flagship offering provides a real-time, centralized platform for inventory, rate, and reservation management, empowering top hotel groups.
Role Overview
By joining the new Hospitality team, you will focus on enhancing Rates and Inventory Management components. You will play a vital role in delivering new features and ensuring high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse Specifications: Gather and define user requirements for new or upgraded software solutions.
- Design Systems and Code:
- Create technical designs and conduct feasibility studies.
- Propose and validate technical solutions with Product Management.
- Develop software according to established standards and implement databases.
- Testing and Maintenance:
- Conduct testing to maintain quality standards.
- Participate in product validation and debugging existing solutions.
- Documentation: Produce necessary software documentation for relevant departments.
Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Skills: Proficient in C++ 17 or higher, Oracle, Couchbase, Azure, Kafka, GIT, Python, and Agile methodology.
- Education: Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Strong background in software development, preferably in hospitality or related sectors.
