The position is also responsible for conducting detailed reporting and analysis to meet business requirements and supporting local financial reporting and administration for EMEA

Description
- Preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for the EMEA operations
- Provide support to drive standardisation and continuous improvement of processes and controls to obtain the highest integrity of financial reporting, including partnering with appropriate stakeholders, for a successful end-to-end approach to reporting.
- Perform the day-to-day accounting tasks activities of the company's finance operations including Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Payroll, VAT, and other Reconciliation activities
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency, considering the diversity of EMEA requirements.
- Participate in the lease accounting process ensuring compliance with US GAAP / IFRS
- Perform duties in treasury and banking activities including cash reconciliations, funding requests, and preparation of quarterly cash flow forecast
- Provide support to GES Group Financial Reporting as required
- Provide support in internal and external audits to fulfill audit requirements
- Perform all tasks in a timely manner ensuring all deadlines are met
Profile
Solid understanding of an internal control framework and the concepts of control design and operational efficiency.
* Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in an accounting firm or in the commercial sector
* Good technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS with exposure to group consolidation and statutory reporting.
* Solid experience in financial reporting, management reporting, and budgeting
* Strong analytical skills.
* Positive, proactive, and can-do attitude towards tasks and challenges.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
* Familiar with SAP or Tagetik would be an advantage.
