Your New Company:A friendly and dynamic SME logistics business in Heathrow are recruiting for a Financial Controller. This highly successful business operates globally and are experiencing year-on-year growth. This organisation prides itself on fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment where people enjoy working and contributing to the success of the group business. You'll be working closely with a passionate Managing Director who values team work and encourages innovation. Based in smart professional offices this is an office based job. Your New Role:As Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in financial operations. Your responsibilities will include preparing monthly management accounts, creating and managing complex Excel spreadsheets, and providing detailed financial reports to the USA and Hong Kong offices. You will handle weekly treasury reporting for the USA, including cash funding requirements and variance explanations, and engage in forecasting for the group office. Additionally, you will prepare quarterly VAT returns, manage day-to-day office duties, and collaborate with the part-time bookkeeper on pay runs. You will also use NetSuite and Cargowise for operations and invoicing, and supervise the yearly audit with the auditors.What You Will Need to Succeed:

  • You will be ACCA, CIMA, ACA or QBE qualified Accountant
  • Offer Proven experience in financial management and reporting.
  • Excellent Excel skills, including spreadsheet creation and complex formulas.
  • Strong communication skills for reporting to international offices.
  • Experience with NetSuite and Cargowise is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
