OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Air Freight Product Manager to oversee and coordinate the airfreight operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for development, management and optimization of the airfreight product portfolio. You will be overseeing the end to end process from product development to pricing strategy and operational execution.

Duties

- To develop and manage airfreight product focuses on general cargo - Develop pricing strategies that are competitive yet profitable, considering factors such as market conditions, cost structures and customer value. - Utilise transportation management systems to plan and execute freight movements- Monitor and update freight data using software tools- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations for the transportation of goods- Coordinate logistics operations with third-party logistics providers (3PL)- Prepare regular reports on product performance and market trends - Monitor financial performance of the product line ie revenue, profitability and cost management - Act as key point of contact for customers regarding air freight cargo product- Generate leads and manage sales activities related to freight services- Negotiate contracts with carriers and suppliers

Skills- Proficient in airfreight management principles-Knowledge of pricing strategies and financial analysis related to logistics and supply chain management-IT literate - Ability to lead and manage sales teams effectively- Excellent negotiation skills for contract agreements- 5 year checkable history/ clean DBS check
