Accounts Receivable Officer

We are excited to offer the opportunity for a dedicated Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an efficient Accounts Receivable Service, ensuring the recovery of various types of debt and contributing to the overall management and delivery of the service. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who can work under pressure with minimal supervision.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Deliver Accounts Receivable Service in line with service levels and key performance indicators.
  • Take responsibility for the recovery of sundry and leasehold income, including major works debt, care debt, and former tenant arrears.
  • Handle referrals and liaise with solicitors for the legal recovery of income.
  • Assist Senior Officers in the day-to-day management and delivery of the Accounts Receivable service.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and self-motivation to deliver under pressure.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in Sundry and Leasehold Income Recovery and handling simple to complex enquiries.
  • Familiarity with Business World On (UNIT 4 ERP), OHMS (housing management system) is preferred.
  • Ability to run performance reports and Business Objects reports is advantageous.
  • Excellent numerical and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Capable of managing a high volume of work within tight deadlines.
  • Organised, systematic, and efficient with a keen eye for accuracy and detail.
  • Ability to manage own workload with minimal supervision and support team members.
  • Proficiency in all office applications is essential.
