Position: School CleanerLocation: Hounslow Hours:06.00 - 08.00 Monday to FridaySalary: £13.15
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the school premises are kept clean, safe, and hygienic at all times.
- Clean classrooms, staff rooms, toilets, corridors, and other school facilities following the cleaning schedule.
- Vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitize surfaces, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and hand sanitisers.
- Safely use cleaning equipment and materials, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues observed during cleaning.
- Secure the premises when required, ensuring all windows and doors are locked.
- Support the school community by maintaining a welcoming and clean environment.
- DBS Certificate: A valid Enhanced DBS check is mandatory for this position (issued within the last 12 months or on the update service).
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment and health and safety practices is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Punctual, reliable, and with a strong attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work occasional additional hours if required.
