Inside Sales / Telesales Role Purpose
The main objective of this role is to provide professional frontline support to new business through direct channels, collaborating closely with the Business Development (BD) team. This includes telesales and CRM management while ensuring compliance.
Additionally, the role involves servicing, retaining, and profitably growing a designated segment of regional accounts through effective CRM data management. The employee is tasked with expanding the business portfolio by acquiring new customer accounts and enhancing the value of the assigned portfolio, measured by Net Sales, Gross Margin, Gross Profit, and transaction volumes.
Inside Sales / Telesales Responsibilities
Business Development Strategy
- Contribute to the creation, development, and implementation of the Business Development strategy within the Commercial & Business Support function.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to optimize approaches, processes, and policies.
- Serve as an ambassador of the strategy across the network.
- Exemplify company values in daily interactions, both internally and externally.
- Provide support to sales teams and branches to help achieve their business objectives efficiently and effectively.
Qualification & Support of New Accounts
- Conduct telesales qualification of new prospects.
- Profile new customers based on size, industry (vertical market), and purchasing behavior.
- Record required customer information and actions in the CRM system.
- Assist sales teams by scheduling customer appointments and logging them in CRM.
- Facilitate credit checks for new customers prior to submitting quotations, ensuring alignment with GSP and credit management policies.
- Provide both spot and standard quotes to customers.
- Address customer inquiries related to commercial matters, including technical details, pricing, invoices, and consulting.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Inside Sales / Telesales Requirements
路 Experience in B2B telesales
路 Experience in freight forwarding and logistics industry
路 Good knowledge of air and ocean freight products & processes (import and export)
路 Good communication / telesales and negotiation skills
路 Customer Satisfaction mind set
路 Fluent in local language(s) and good English skills
