Class 2 Driver
TVT Recruitment is looking for experienced and reliable Class 2 Drivers to join our team of Airside Drivers at Heathrow Airport.
This is a greatClass 2 Driver opportunity for individuals who would like to work for a prestigious multinational company, as a part of their team in a fast-paced environment, driving airside, to ensure the freight is delivered safely to and from the aircraft and warehouse.
This role is temp to perm, 4on2off shift pattern, mixture of earlies and lates.
Class 2 DriverQualifications:
- Valid manual HGV Class 2/ Class C license with clean driving record -must haveeither: airside driving experience with no qualification or HGV qualification - newly qualified accepted.
- No more than 6 points.
- 5 Years Employment History and clear Criminal Record Check (DBS).
- Right To Work in UK ( If applicable ).
- Driver Cargo Operative certification (can be obtained if you do not hold initial current certification).
Class 2 DriverRequirements:
- Previous experience of airfreight work - desired but not essential.
- A good level of fitness - essential.
- Able to understand and follow instructions.
- Good communication both written and verbal.
- Have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Adhere and respect Health and Safety Policy.
- Ability to pass a driver's medical and colour vision assessment.
In return, as a Class 2 Driver ( Airside Driver) you will receive:
- Standard £15.31 per hour including shift allowance.
- Minimum 37.5 hours per week.
- Overtime ( after working 37.5 hours per week ) ,Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays -payrate will be different (up to £28.74 per hour) .
- On site parking but also free parking is available in a ULEZ-free zone.
- Full uniform.
- 20 Days Holiday.
