Freightserve is seeking a Security Class 2 Driver for a specialized Freight Forwarder dealing with high-value shipments, located in the Heathrow area.
Candidates must have a Full Clean UK Driving Licence, HGV Class 2 Licence, valid Digi Tacho card, and ideally an SIA licence, along with excellent customer service skills.
The position requires strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures to safeguard transports, with responsibilities including pickups, deliveries, and loading/unloading of an armoured vehicle.

Freightserve are looking to recruit a Security Class 2 Driver for a niche sector Freight Forwarder that deals with high value shipments. The company are based in the Heathrow area.

This position requires strict following of rules and procedures to protect and safeguard the transports and property.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing pickups and deliveries of high value shipments

• Maintaining high standard of work at trade shows and special events

• Loading and unloading the armoured vehicle

• Ensuring the safety and protection of assets at all times

• Providing an excellent level of customer service at all times

• Respecting and following the company’s guidelines and procedures

• Driving an armoured vehicle and following road safety regulations

• Maintaining a high level of vigilance at all times

• Completing daily reports and check of the vehicle

• Carrying out other ad-hoc duties as requests

Key Skills/Requirements:-

• Must hold a Full Clean UK Driving Licence

• Must hold an HGV Class 2 Licence

• A valid Digi Tacho card

• Holding an SIA licence is desirable

• A valid driver CPC

• Excellent ethics and integrity

• High attention to detail

• Collaborative work style

• Excellent customer service

• Ability to work independently

• Professional positive demeanour

This role requires references to be provided for the last 5 years as well as a successful DBS check. Hours Hours vary from early shifts starting from 06:00am and the latest finish being 22:00pm depending on the needs of the business. Overtime opportunities available. Optional weekend work at enhanced rate
