We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and adhering to all road safety and driving regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate HGV Class 1 or 2 vehicles for the delivery and collection of goods

Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report any faults

Plan routes and meet delivery schedules

Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle logs

Communicate effectively

Comply with all company policies, legal requirements, and road transport regulations

Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle

Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 license

Proven experience as an HGV driver

Good knowledge of UK road networks and transport laws

Ability to work independently and handle long hours or overnight routes if needed
