Our client, a global leader in automated handling solutions, is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join their established UK team based at Heathrow. This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects across multiple industries.
THE ROLE:
- Design and specify complete electrical controls installations
- Create power calculations and cable layout drawings
- Develop control system documentation for manufacturing and installation
- Interface with subcontractors on technical matters
- Support cross-disciplinary engineering teams
- Ensure compliance with UK legislation and industry standards
THE CANDIDATE:
- Experienced in industrial electrical design and low voltage installations
- Proficient with AutoCAD and EPLAN
- Knowledge of industrial networks (ProfiNet, ASi bus, Profibus)
- Background in electro-technology or energy technology
- Previous experience with material handling systems preferred
- Strong technical problem-solving capabilities
