THE ROLE:

  • Design mechanical systems for large-scale automation projects
  • Create detailed layouts for manufacturing and installation
  • Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate with customers and other engineering disciplines
  • Present design solutions to clients and stakeholders
  • Manage third-party equipment integration


THE CANDIDATE:

  • Degree/HND qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in automated material handling systems
  • Strong 2D & 3D AutoCAD skills (Navisworks/Revit/BIM advantageous)
  • Knowledge of building interfaces and structural elements
  • Understanding of Machinery Safety Standards
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Willing to travel occasionally (UK and abroad)
