Shift - Monday-Friday Control of Works Officer We're seeking a meticulous Control of Works Officer to join our team at UK. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee and manage our comprehensive standards for contractor control across all UK locations, ensuring strict adherence to company H&S and HSE requirements. Your responsibilities will include vetting service providers, assessing health and safety documentation prior to maintenance works being undertaken, including but not limited to risk assessments, method statements, training/qualifications, accreditations (Safe Contractor, CHAS etc.) and insurance requirements.You will be managing our Permit-to-Work system for high-risk activities (e.g. hot works, working at height and electrical works) and be the guardian of safety compliance, monitoring and auditing work activities to ensure they align with permit requirements. This role extends to overseeing internal facilities maintenance and supporting our Construction, Design & Management (CDM 2015) requirements.   • Experience of working with PTW systems and management of contractors in a similar role is essential
  • A full UK driving license is essential as travel between facilities may be required
  • Safety driven with the ability to maintain a safe and secure working environment
  • Pre-employment checks - ability to achieve successful completion of the referencing (checkable 5-year employment/education history) and criminal record check procedures to meet and CAA security regulations, and a satisfactory medical report.
