Sonic Summary

The position of Highways Operative involves delivering a variety of routine and cyclical highways maintenance tasks, including asphalt patching and street lighting repairs.
Candidates must have at least 1 year of relevant experience and hold an HGV Licence, Drivers CPC, and other specialist qualifications such as NRSWA Operative and Lantra TM 12D.
The role requires adherence to health and safety procedures and the ability to respond to emergencies on a call-out basis.
Successful applicants will work Monday to Friday for 40 hours per week and must be able to complete record sheets and participate as a team player.
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Summary

To deliver a wide range of routine and cyclical highways maintenance work,including: asphalt footway and carriageway patching, street furniture defects, street lighting, drainage, drainage and winter maintenance.To respond to emergencies, daytime and out of hours call outs on a rota basis.Adhering to company procedures with regards to health and safety.Delivering projects within defined time and financial target.
