We are currently working with one of our key clients in their search for the above position.
The job includes as follows:
To deliver a wide range of routine and cyclical highways maintenance work, including:
- asphalt footway and carriageway patching
- street furniture defects
- street lighting
- drainage
- drainage and winder maintenance
To respond to emergencies, daytime and out of hours call outs on a rota basis.
Adhering to company procedures with regards to health and safety
Delivering projects within defined time and financial target
Desirable Skills
- HGV Licence
- Drivers CPC (current)
- Street lighting qualifications
- NRSWA Operative
- Lantra TM 12D
- Banksman
- Manual Handling
- Current Full UK Driving Licence
- Safe dig
- Emergency First Aid
General Competencies
To understand risk assessment and apply safe systems of working
Ability to use own initiative
Able to complete record sheets, paper and electronically
Team player and prepared to contribute and participate with others
Able to carry out basic safety, quality and environment audits and risk assessment
