The ideal candidate for this role would have strong experience in working on similar projects, showing management and leadership skills and initiative.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the preparation of a portfolio of projects, ensuring the monthly updates with Project Manager Instructions.
- Prepare and update the monthly Progress Programme for a portfolio of projects, including project performance analysis and path evaluation, in line with contract requirements for scope, time, risk, schedule updates, and identifying any opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinating with all external stakeholders involved in the process, including commercial teams, planners, section leads, and site agents.
- Ensure realistic and accurate project delivery is established.
- Provide leadership and guidance to those on-site.
- Utilize and apply Primavera P6 proficiently, with a strong understanding of cost-loaded programmes.
- Promote company values in all interactions with colleagues, clients, subcontractors, and external stakeholders.
- Proven experience in planning large-scale civil engineering projects.
- Hands-on experience with planning management systems in civil engineering environments.
- Proficient in Primavera P6 and CEMAR (Contract and Change Management).
- Strong understanding of NEC3 contracts and their practical application.
- Solid knowledge of civil engineering work measurement techniques.
Day rates are negotiable and additional benefits will depend on the work status of candidates.
