A logistics company in London is looking for a Sales Representative to assist existing companies and expand their business.Havinga robust understanding of the import/export process, knowledge of transport (sea, air, land) and cargo insurance are all vitalAn Inside Sales Representative is also being recruited at the same time, and experience in international logistics sales or shipping is required.Both require business level of English language skills.
-------------------------------------------Eligible applicants:- (O) Eligible visa: Permanent residence, Spouse, Partner- (X) NOT eligible: Student visa, Requiring visa sponsorship, Working holiday, GraduateWork type: Office-basedVisa support: No-------------------------------------------TYPE: Permanent, full-timeWORKING HOURS: Mon-Fri 7.5 hours a day (*Core hours Mon-Fri 10:00-16:00(SALARY: Negotiable, depending on experienceSTART: ASAPLOCATION: LondonSales Representative Main Responsibilities:- Analysis of customer needs- Selection of optimum transport routes- Pricing and contract management- Planning and proposing logistics solutions- Maintaining commercial rights for existing customers and increasing customer share- Develop new customers and new business- Joint sales in collaboration with internal overseas offices- Responding to quotations and enquiries from UK and non-UK customersSales Representative Ideal Candidate:- Understanding of import/export processes- Knowledge of means of transport (sea, air, land)- Knowledge of cargo insurance- Understanding of customs procedures- Driving licence required- Business level English- PC skills (Microsoft office)- Some understanding of Japanese culture and Japanese language would be advantageousInside Sales Representative:- Experience in international logistics sales or shipping (no driving licence required)
